I thought it happens with all colony ships that get destroyed regardless of race. They switch sides. I am curious what the actual function is now too. I do play Yor a lot so maybe it's only them?

As title says. I woke up this morning and tried to log into my saved game. The game was no longer compatible. I started several new games. Approximately by turn 15 on all of them the games would crash. It wasn't based on turn though. I could just go afk for a moment or analyze a screen contemplating and the game closes crashed. This was never an issue until I woke up this morning 5/4/2022. I have verified both test and regular versions to be 1.01.343914b. Intel i5 12600k Asus
Along this line I would love the map to allow us to add markers ourselves. All enemy(pirate/monster) bases should stay lit up once discovered. If not allow us to place a coordinate beacon to show the danger zone on our maps. Just give us some symbols and allow us to place several of each symbol if desired to draw on the universe like a football playbook. An overlay that doesn't really interact.
If you are Yor you have to manufacture yor population. Did you have food? Was your approval good? Was the pollution bad? Was crime bad?
What an awesome visual answer! Notice the trade button at the bottom left too. That is handy for trade route information.
It was worth it to me after paying 60 bucks for a pure simulation dud reminding me of microleague Baseball '84 in interactivity, referring to Distant World 2. I shut off epic services and only use it to launch GC4. I get your frustrations just because I don't like multiple platforms for my media. Where is my hard copy!
It was only the Red nodes that I noticed this on. So I lost every single red node to these special AI medium hull military ships slurping them all up solo effortlessly throughout the entire universe. The yellow nodes are no longer defended and regular no attack survey ships can get them. They cleared the map of them all Red nodes while I prepared to clear my first Red node. I only noticed they were doing this after they took the last red node in the known universe closest to my
How is the AI doing this? I bust ass to make a fleet with survey to take out a red survey node. By the time I get enough ships to throw away at the node defenders Earth alliance is sweeping them all up with a medium hull military ship no survey listed on details. Enemy ships can survey without a survey ship? Please tell me the AI is making custom ship designs and the survey isn't showing up on ship details. I can't deal with AI dynamic cheating to make the game in
I like to think my fleets matter and hope to keep them around. One of the last games I played as Iconian and lost to Torian Prestige had my commanders also being the first to die in my large fleets. I would reload the game but the commanders died first over and over. This left me thinking why fleet up commanders at all. Just use them to survey or buff planets. Maybe to send a fleet to a commander surveying for the level up fleet buff. Commanders are too squishy and the focus poi
I just completed and lost by 20% prestige Max game 1 of each race opponent. Norm diff; all settings max. I was Iconian and lost to out of range Torian. Boy the Iconian science seems to not outweigh its other loss of other stats. In this game I noticed that by late-mid to late game: My 7 fleets containing Commanders. Some reason the commander ships, foremost the lower their logistic cost the sooner it happened, the enemy would target commander ships. I would keep losing c
Right clicking for menu access is helpful. That way no amount of left clicking and twitchiness will cause an administrative failure in game. :) Accidental double clicking is causing the error because the menu doesn't appear always and clicking again to try to open the window is counted as a double click, without having seen the menu. Right click sounds like a fix.
I run; Intel i5 12th gen 12600k Asus ROG 690 E Gaming Corsair Dominator DDR5 5200/40 32GB 1TB 4.4 850 M.2 Nvidia 3080ti I only run everything in 1080p for max graphics at highest performance. *Decadence* Runs great. I max every game and wait for the games to adjust to my build. This game shows no sign of stress on my system when I set the universe to 12 random opponents and abundant all except off races/pirates
Off/On isnt the answer. As I stated it happens when the menu doesn't pop up for firing, bribing, etc a leader. I can look at 5 leaders with the menu popping up and I give a bonus. On the 6 leader the menu doesn't pop up. Clicking again to see if the menu pops up will remove the leader as a double click drag drop removal. It is too easy to have a leader pulled off the assignment with such a penalty of loyalty imposed.
When I am looking at my placed leaders, mainly trying to activate the pop up menu to give a harmony crystal gift to improve loyalty, quite often a leader will get twitchy and jump back to the leader pool losing 10 loyalty. This usually happen when AI is moving or something makes things jerky in game, but also when my hand is twitchy. Any movement of mouse while trying to press the button to activate the menu will remove the leader cause 10 loyalty loss not to mention more possible loyalty los
