So I did some testing. The damage for Hammer Slam occurs before the mana cost is deducted. This means that if you do enough damage to fill your mana bar your end mana will be at your max mana minus the cost of the hammer slam. Example: You hammer slam for 1 million damage, your max mana is 5000 and your hammer slam ability costs 2000 mana. After the hammer slam you will have 3000 mana (5000 max-2000 slam cost). <p style="pad

I'm also working on the auto-mulching feature. It is proving to be trickier than I had imagined. However, I should have it figured out soon (or I give up and go back to doing something complete different).

While I'm sure we can all sympathize with MAGNUS's point. The end result of his approach is that nothing changes. I don't like that as the ultimate outcome.

As another stick-in-the-mud, I believe Spooky_ has a point. By encouraging bad behavior in others you enter into a downward spiral of griefing. Consider this, if one does follow the guide, would the teammate causing you such annoyance be more or less likely to behave in the next game. Odds are he will not change in a positive manner, but may decide to behavior even worse. I don't think that this sort of behavior should be encouraged.

So I'm one of the worst contributors to modding delinquency for Demigods. I apologize. To be fair most of what I've submitted to the public has been in complete destructive obliterating file overriding for easier understanding of the code. So, it took me a while, but I finally got the syntax to work for adding EffectTemplates. Directly replacing a template was straightforward: [code="c++"] do EffectTemplates.Buff.Bramble01.Small = '/mods/EffectExample

To my knowledge they removed the console in one of the post release versions. I read some discussions about it when I first started looking into demigods, but I can't find it again. It might be in Sorian's posts on another forum (I don't recall). I keep running across various references, but nothing that I can trace back to actually getting it to work, so I think it might be the case. My way of doing these sorts of things is unfortunately very crude. I've directly access the blueprint

So I'm not completely crazy. I'm also pretty sure I don't have colorblindness (not dichromat nor trichromat am I). I do have a relatively small screen and play at a fair distance from the screen. Here is the original graphics with context. Here are some enhancements. <img src="http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/eb1e0aadb10eb7bb7c7ee3afe53539d04g.jpg"

I've working on adding new effects to the QoT Mod I've been developing. The final (successful) method took me a while to figure out, so I thought I'd post an example here so others wouldn't have to waste time replicating my failed methods. The method was exactly as DeadMG and others described in the thread on Hooking in Demigod. However I find that an actual example goes a long way towards understanding. The effect: A new color for Bramble Shield <img src="http://www.mediafire

Sacrifice is currently nonfunctional the code doesn't actually have the desired effect. No healing occurs. You can create the mod and make the changes yourself.

So I've been working on the QoT Balance mod while the 1.3 goes through QA and I started examining Compost. It is... probably not working correctly. Compost has three ranks. The tooltip is not very precise, although does provide the basis of understanding what Compost does. As nearby enemies die, their bodies nourish Queen of Thorns. For every 3 enemies killed, Uproot increases in damage. Her Shamblers gain Weapon Damage and Health. The effects cap a

You might try using the random slot to select a "default" demigod. That demigod then would either have shop access to choose a new demigod in game or just have his abilities set to choose a new demigod. This "default" would then also have be the representative for all of the new demigods, so his information would be used for the scoreboard, achievements, etc.

Any more details? Are you sure the limit was 8 or 9? It should have been 7 or 10. Did you have any mods on? Were you able to lose spirits and then regain them up to your limit? Were there any other Oaks in game? Did you gain the spirits all at once, or did you build them up over time?

re: 1.3 Patch Frogboy posted the patch notes for the 1.3 patch. It has some good stuff in it. Given how long it took, I'm guessing that things are really busy at Stardock. They seem to be doing all the QA in house and without public awareness. It is too bad they won't let us help out, but given how the community has attacked them in the past for things, not too surprising. I've been trying to understand h

Interesting work. So, I've been kicking around the idea of having items in the favor shop that allow you to change your demigod. This would allow us to add new demigods without having to replace already existing ones. (Although to be fair I only browsed the files in the .rar, I didn't look at it in game.). Any thoughts on if it would work out?
