You have my condolences. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

I want a guard command. This will function like the sentry command, except the ship will not woken up by nearby enemy ships. This command did exist in GalCiv 3, so it shouldn't be hard to add.
In GalCiv 2, terror stars could destroy stars. This would also destroy all planets, starbases, and ships near that star. I didn't find it useful as I prefer to capture planets.
You could try deleting them. That'll get rid of them for good. Alternatively, you could obsolete them, but then you have to do that every new game. A third option is to go into your saved data files and back them up before deleting them. They should be here: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Designs
I think terror stars would be a waste. I rather take planets, not destroy them. ... Okay, maybe I'll nuke the Festron. I want no eggs laid in me.
I'd also like it if auto end turn went away. Something I find annoying is I'm not often given time to upgrade a newly built starbase. If the constructor was the last idle ship and I turned it into a starbase, the auto turn kicks in while I'm trying to select starbase modules. I think there is also a problem if you colonize a world that you want to turn into a core world, but the colony ship was your last idle ship. I'd like it if they made 3 buttons: One button for end turn, a
Bump. I still want tier 1 lasers and kinetic weapons. Also the ability to sort ship by name (and make it the default sorter). More HP increasing modules is optional. I would like these added before GalCiv 4 next comes out cause I fear that the base game will not be supported after that.
Some threads I made. Missing ship components: https://forums.galciv4.com/512096/page/2/#3874543 Design Starbases: https://forums.galciv4.com/515822/page/1/ Ship management: https://forums.galciv4.com/511960/page/1/ Want better rally points: <a href="https://forums.galc
Adding drag select would also be welcome.
Well, I think some quality of life stuff needs to be added. For a long time, since galciv 3 beta, this game does not have a good way to select multiple ships at once. No drag select, no shift select. Likewise, you can't import ship designs mid game. For example, a friend sent you a saved game that they want to see if you can beat. Loading the game, you would not have any of your ship designs or templates as there is no way to load them.
Have you fixed that one Mimot commander ship that I can't seem to murder? (FYI you can kill with strategic missile volleys, but not with space battles because it always retreat).
I don't know why the two numbers don't match. I currently play with all the DLC installed, and I have the same problem as you.
What you experienced was a feature that was supposed to reduce the number of planets and shipyards a player would need to manage after conquering a civ. This made sense in GalCiv 3 where the micromanagement could get extreme *shudders*. I don't think making planet improvement adjacency bonuses a core feature of the game was a good thing as it greatly increased the micro. I don't think destroying colonies was a good thing because nabbing planets and artifacts are usually the main reason I atta
I never make peace with the AIs. I usually come to regret it. I can't declare war again for a long time (I don't know how long I have to wait) no matter the reason. In GalCiv 2, declaring war after declaring peace was a great way to show someone that you're a jerk. Its a feature that I miss. I have seen the AIs surrender only for someone else surrender to them, thus keeping them in the game. And leaving them without ships to defend themselves. There really should be an option to turn
I don't usually consider Mimot citizens a problem. They help grow your population, if present on your core worlds. Their growth stats (or whatever its called) is higher than other organics. I find food fairly easy to grow, so feeding Mimots is not that hard for me. Its the Yor and minor citizens I have a problem with. They have no growth stat so population don't grow if they're the only citizens present. You have to import other types of citizens to get population growth started.
Sadly no. There is no way to upgrade ships. Its now called retrofitting for some strange reason. Upgrading is now for special ships when they level up (you can pick parts and stuff). I wish retrofitting was supported. If you must retrofit, there is an unintended left over with rally points. You can retrofit ships 1 ship at a time at rally points. There should be a button you can press when you are selecting only 1 ship.
So do the Yor now grow population instead of building it? Also, what version does this affect? Crusade? Retribution?
Bump. I still want tier 1 lasers and kinetic weapons, and more variety for HP increasing modules.
I happen to like the rock paper scissors system for weapons and defense that we had since GalCiv 2. I'm a little sad you are trying to replace it. However, I'll try to keep an open mind for the new system that develops. Some thoughts. I don't think you should allow one weapon type to get a range advantage and get to kill the enemy before they get to fire back. That just encourages stacking that weapon type. I'm a known offender. Another factor to consider is whether al
I hope you fix the issue where a planet that has "Guardian Drones" cannot be invaded successfully because, after you destroy the drones and start the invasion, the drones regenerate after 3 turns causing the game to terminate the invasion due to the planet now being defended.
I'm pretty sure they fixed that. I made sure they fixed it.
As for GalCiv 3, could we get an in-game clock? I'd like to know what late hour I'm playing to.
Any chance that GalCiv 2 might get some love? I have this strange bug that won't let me alt-tab if I do a planet invasion. I think the planet invasion screen breaks something. In windows 7, I would return to a black screen (I have to close the game). In windows 10, it makes everything a black screen (I have to restart the computer).
