v0.77 Case: While in the Diplomacy UI view there is no list or total number of planets displayed as a way to gauge the other civilizations general size and expansion. The number of planets is available in the 'Data Bank' UI but this requires the player to switch in and out of UI views to get this info. Enhancement: At a minimum, in the Diplomacy UI display a numerical value of the total number of known planets for the civilizatio

My post was somewhat tongue in cheek and I agree that the player knows they probably should care, but by what degree should they care and what did they miss out on? My concerns: Available Galactic Achievements are shown in the planet improvement menu, but unless I am missing something I don't see data on them anywhere else. Once once is built then you cannot see what the stats are for that achievement anywhere that I am aware of. Searching 'achi
v0.77 Case: There is no display of ship travel time to reach a destination. There are pips on the ship travel route, but the player must count the pips to determine travel time. Feature: Add a numerical indication someplace, possibly in the ship mouseover pop-up, that displays the remaining turns for a ship to reach its destination. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/24/57/24575
V0.77 Case: There does not appear to be any global display of "Science per Turn" as there is for Income, Control, Food, and other global resources. Mousing over the current tech in the top left of the screen shows a summary of the tech and there is a counter showing remaining weeks, but there is no indication of how much science is being poured in at a global level to drive the remaining research time. This information is also missing from the "Resea
Agreed, thanks for mentioning as I noticed this as well but forgot to mention. A simple right click to delete the credit part of the offer would be great.
v0.77 The AI offered a deal which included some techs in exchange for my techs and 500 credits. I tried to squeeze out paying a few less credits and dropped the value to 450 and the AI said "NO". Perfectly fine, but when I tried to reset to the original 500 offer the AI now wouldn't accept for less than 753. Maybe this is intentional and the AI got pissed at me for trying to haggle and was insulted with the low offer so then asked for more than the original offer,
v0.77 Case: The 'VICTORY STATUS' button is on the Main Menu with other game management controls (SAVE, LOAD, EXIT, etc). The 'VICTORY STATUS' should be part of the game experience, similar to the 'DATA BANK' and 'GALACTIC CHALLENGES' buttons Victory is part of the game experience and gaming objectives and should be grouped with the main game UI and not with the game management controls UI. Recommendation: Move the 'VICT
V0.77, just received a pop up notifying me that an AI opponent had completed a galactic achievement. That is cool, but why do I care? What does (insert achievement name here) even do? Did that impact the overall victory conditions? There is no game log icon, at least lasting until the end of the turn, that the player can return to and re-check the event.
V0.77 Case: During a trade the user can only choose to increase or decrease credits in increments of 10. Most deals will be accepted for a few credits more or less, but it is tedious to have to continually click the credit number and manually adjust it to a specific value. There are currently single arrows which increase credits by a factor of 10. Feature Request: Change the arrows to increas
V0.77, in the event "Experimental Technology" there is a requirement to 'Scan Planet'. My assumption was that I needed to send a survey ship to scan the planet, and it was only when I happened to later be in the planet menu that I noticed the 'Scan Planet' project in the far lower left corner of the screen. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/24/57/2457516/53d1
Just gotta say, when I zoomed out and saw this view I literally said, "WOW", out loud. Kudos to the devs, a game hasn't done that to me in a loooong time. For context, I'm in my 50s, not my 20's so a long time really is a long time [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
v0.77 turn 24, I don't have Constructors yet and don't know how to get them. I did a search in the tech tree but "Constructors" returns no results. After paging through the techs I was able to determine that the tech "Starbases" is required to build Constructors. Just tried a couple others, searching for "Survey Ship" returns the tech "Survey Ships", but searching "Freighter" does not return the tech "Trade Networks". <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/24/57/
v0.77, the race icon is missing in the Balance of Power bar.
Received the event, "Theia (ship name) was destroyed." Boo, that sucked, but why was it destroyed? Was it attacked, did the ship stumble upon a hostile race or pirates, was there a negative event, or did it just get hit by a random asteroid? Clicking the event sends you to the location, but there is no debris or details of what happened. Maybe this is intentional because I'm not far enough into the game to have the knowledge of what could have happened,
v0.77 - Maybe this feature is just not fully implemented, but there is a "Go To" button on many events but it doesn't seem to do anything. I would expect that the perspective would shift to the even location, or select a fleet do do something, etc. Also, the state of the button does not change (no color change, no highlight, etc) so upon clicking the user doesn't know if they are doing what they are supposed to do. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/24/57/2457516/af7
Turn 24 so not too far in, and received the following decision to increase Ideology Awareness which is a modal pop-up window. The problem is that the player must decide without access to the current state of their Ideology. Did I start going down a path already, and if so, which one? Do I want to continue to min/max or spread these points around? Just ran into the same situation with an AI player asking me to declare war on anoth
I just fired up the game and it occured to me that a "CONTINUE" button on the start menu would be a nice feature, maybe to replace the "EXIT" button as mentioned in one of the dev journals. Case : Display a CONTINUE button Possibly display the current leader, race, and game turn On selecting Continue the player immediately returns to where they left off Benefit : Eliminate need to click into the save game menu and
