What is the hardware like that you are installing too? OS, video card... and so on?

There were several critical updates that took place on Impulse this week. Things had to get shuffled around a bit. Thank you for noting this, we hope to have a fix out for it as soon as we can.
I have Windows XP and I don't seem to have the right applications to download the patches for the weather dock
This isn't a patch but rather a file replacement for a "workaround' one of the current troubles of Object Dock. It will not execute to update Object Dock. The instructions are to replace a file with in the Object Dock install folders. "Download this replacement stardockweather.ocx file: <br /
I'm very glad to hear that you have it working Excalpius! Please note that when the update is made through Impulse at a later date you will need to uninstall that version completely before installing Object Dock through Impulse. Otherwise it is likely that you will have conflicts between the two. Just a heads up!
I had ObjectDock Free version and liked it so much I bought the Plus. The fix worked on the Free Version but after I installed the Plus it doesn't work. I followed the same steps to copy and replace the file but the days are all off.
What Philly said is very important because the free version had a much older docklet for weather servers. You were fortunate that it worked in your area but it did not often work for others.

I use gmail, and my beta activation code (timestamp 3:05 EST) was mistakenly placed in my spam folder. Just a heads up to others who have pre-ordered that you might want to check your spam folder.
If you are missing information on your beta key/purchase of the preorder contact immediately. I double checked your account and it is in proper order. What error are you getting? If you want to you can try a manual activation. It can be done through this guide: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=447
As a quick reminder: tickets are first-come-first-serve. So the earliest tickets get answered first. The reason that is important is if you send in updates it will reset the ticket time. Example: You send in a ticket one week before support returns. On the day they do you send a response asking what happened to your ticket. This counts as an action on the ticket and sends the ticket to the back of the line, you then end up waiting longer. Other major point: If you don't
As I look through the post I don't see where you said you tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I see the portion where you said the uninstall failed but I have to ask the basic questions whenever stuff
In Impulse when you click on the game title the version of the game you have installed is displayed on the right hand window. If you are behind in versions when you click on the game title an update button will show in the bottom right corner of Impulse.
I can't run entrnechment. I get this error. fmod.dll can't be found. I uninstalled / reinstalled and same effect.
Make sure that Impulse is installing Entrenchment to the same file location as Sins is installed to. If it isn't several files would be missing like the .dll you are getting the error message about. To change the path where Impulse installs software: -Click on the Stardoc
Make sure that when you post the debug log that you are getting the debug.err file from the game directory right after that error you get. That way we can be certain it is the up to date information on the problem. Also if you have the expansions installed the debug you need is in the expansion folder you are currently updated/installed to.
You might have an old AMD Dual Core issue from a while ago. I jump to this as it is an old error you are getting. There were a few updates that came out for the processor through AMD. If you are on XP get the second to last download and apply it. The 1.3.2.0053 dated Sept 2007. The AMD update is found here; http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html
Well I'm guessing its becauses this process is dependent on a large number of external parties such as banks, paypal, and credit card companies (visa). If it were a matter of sending out emails to everyone it would be done in a few minutes, but in this case it requires individual confirmations of payment.
That is quite correct. If you have purchased the beta you have not actually been charged for it yet. Once they process your order
Silly question, but are we allowed to talk about the beta here? Is there some agreement you have to accept when you install it that you wont go on the forums and post about advent starbases, Vasari defense trees or the power of Marza? Just curious, I dont want to get banned because I didnt read something.
There is no current rule against about talking about the Sins beta. :) Please check ou
If you are having troubles with the serial number you have been issued or downloading the product from Impulse please let us know at . Account information cannot be posted to the forums for obvious reasons. For Impulse related issues with downloading and installing please reinstall the game and then right click on the icon and select "verify installation". Do you happen to have any security software running at the time of installation?
Several users reported this issue earlier and making sure that the download location is set to the same folder has worked for all that have updated us on the issue. This is only for the missing .dll message. If you have tried this and you are still getting the same problem please let us know.
What hardware are you running it on? Are your video drivers up to date? If uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling does not clear the issue you can always send in the debug report to . It is found after a crash in: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\(which ever expansion you are on) I would say post it here but the message is just too long for something like that.
It is much easier under those conditions to max out your activation threshold. Please be certain that if you have to reinstall it and you get an error saying "max activations" you contact support and let them know the circumstances involved. We are happy to help.
This is not a error we are aware of at this time. A missing .dll would indicate a corrupted download so my suggestion would have been to do as you have already done with the reinstall. Please try uninstalling, delete the install directory, restart the machine, reinstall through Impulse, restart again to clear the cache and see if that does it for you. If not check to see if you have any security software running that could interfere with the download/install. This is a remote possi
What locations are you using for the docklet? Have you tired the fix that is posted above?
That would be GalCiv1 then and you should be fine. GalCiv2 is still pending for the Ultimate version.
