It is a food building with a tourism bonus. I think that stresses your point well enough. The tourism buildings are junk, as-is the mechanic. I am a GalCiv4 newbie but I've been avoiding investing in tourism as I figure out the new mechanics of GC4 because it didn't appear worth it to me. Appreciate your insights in this thread that support my rough understanding.

I've really been enjoying this, especially because I haven't had much time to play the game because of work. This is a fun way to learn some more about the mechanics and ways to approach a game versus reading the guides and explanations that have been posted. I just wish Frogboy would post some more of his, so we had both of your content rolling in. :)

I find the UQM community arguments amusing because the parallel argument would be that anyone can 100% copy every element that is associated with a trademarked good and it is perfectly acceptable as long as you don't label the good with the mark. What value would trademarks have if this was accurate? I'm 100% certain if the UQM community were instead an entity selling that game, they would have received a C&D within days from Atari/Accolate followed immediately by an infringement
