Update windowblind application may help assuming i spose other skins do the same https://forums.wincustomize.com/461409/page/1/
Open windowblind application you can see them in the screenshot, they are where they always are top right cnr.The red circle is close the two white marks directly left are min max edit: yes i have installed & tested to see if they appear
Opera button top left corner is where you'll find settings located, see no reason not to reset to defaults then reset the homepage again.Opera, firefox & chrome all use the same engine. There is two 64bit firefox versions the other being waterfox mozbackup -portable app to make backups of your mozilla firefox/waterfox settings, history, addons etc,etc http://sourceforge.net/projects/mozbackup/ edit:however now you have ff
what mark phelps said use waterfox There's a work around for getting firefox to skin correctly including waterfox it requires the addon classic theme restorer & replacing ff or wf "CTRpreferences.txt" file with a custom version i can confirm it works including changing skins https://forums.wincustomize.com/445965/page/1/
ODM is about as much use to me at the moment as a pile of poo in a swimming pool
The correct term is "code brown" when there's a floater in the pool [e digicons][/e]
If your subs is no longer current all it means is you can't get updates. So yes you can keep using what you paid for so long as it's already INSTALLED.As for OEM numbers object desktop is a suite therefore separate serials isn't required unless you buy them as stand alone is my understanding. You may be able to reinstall a product when subs have run out but only up to the point you originally had a running sub so subs run out in feb 2015 you MAY be entitled to updates that
@ Zoticos Tut works a treat on win 7 64bit & waterfox v34,menu bar is good & is as it should be & close button set showing, tried a couple of other wb themes all's good much to my surprise..lol.. *thumbs up*
hillarious [e digicons]5*[/e]
Shouldn't that be place folder of unzipped theme or back ground into the appropriate background sub folder.. i.e,so if you have a tabbed background you want to use or a zoomer the folder & its contents go here C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds\Tabs\sliderxp tab C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds\Zoomer\sliderxp zoom
I use services.msc to set a number of autostart programs & change them to manual or auto start delayed.Copy & paste it into the run cmd if you have it on startmenu or just use startmenu search function & decide if you want manual start or delayed.Right click on the entry & select properties. Before making a change create a txt file & write into it what the original setting was,do this for any changes you make it'll keep a record of what was original & what wasn'
lol @ redneck dude,in a previous topic he mentioned failed restores,i've also had issues where things pass integrity check, didn't take long to learn the only way to check an image was use it.
Functions of start8 & compatibility list in link,it only supports fx5 no mention of windowblinds, which makes sense as it's a separate program,it would take a programmer to answer what issues/conflicts there would be for wb to skin while using start8 me thinks butting heads. https://www.stardock.com/products/start8/index.asp#features I recall pre vista being released that ms were going to effect changes to make skinning less friendly i see whatever
Verification is useless is my attitude only real way of knowing is to use it..lol.. If you use its file explorer you can make sure the booting partition has the correct drive letter use the windows install disc to see if it can do a fix mbr & a boot repair ;if you don't have a disc see if a torrent has your version you'll need to make sure its an untouched iso (non cracked) then attempt to fix it up
Isn't there an error log & what type of backup is it there's around 4 differing types if i recall correctly, however if your using incremental or differential then say no more been there done that switched to one time images; since doing so my failure rate pretty much dropped to 0,if it's one time images (system images or images of C) that are failing are you making sector by sector backups if so do a full disk check now use something like seagate seatools or other such softwa
1-So long as the operating system & it's files are on C then D is irrelevant tho it would be good to create 1 file/partition image of D to save time; tho it won't need to be restored at the same time as C;only time you need to restore D is if something happens to D say a virus or corruption 2-You MUST get an external hard drive even if it's only 1; as you will NOT be able to restore from the same physical hard drive if both the OS (Operating System) &
@jafo When the brain engages i have to type quickly or it gets too far ahead, minimal punctuation allows me to keep up ,well that's my excuse [e digicons][/e] @Elana Yes & sort of D = i assume is the recovery partition this needs imaging only once by itself or as below along with C;however i like to make a separate image of D,then do the following in the next paragraph:= C = i normally create a partition image directly after
No! its far from over, Elana should've had backup images ready at the minimum for just such an occasion however 1 image on 1 external hdd won't be enough, you'll need two , tho 3 would be preferable or two externals & 1 image on the current computer drive, there are other free imaging software's my preference is easeus todo backup free V5.5,later versions were changed to disallow medium compression on the free version so link is to v5.5 AD changed the
Can any of these help http://nz.search.yahoo.com/search?p=search+dial+toolbar+removal&ei=UTF-8&fr=moz2-ytff-tyc if not read on- If you require specialist help there's only 1 person i know who can ,2oldgeek is the resident "expert" over at afterdawn he can help you get rid of it,others try however he 's top d
try this in the mean time it may work https://www.stardock.com/stardockcentral/
then get the 64bit version of java or better still manually download & install the latest software for the gpu
One backup hard drive won't be enough you'll need a minimum of two & as large as you can afford unless of coarse you can afford to loose the data your backing up regarding imaging & what crastiloowa mentioned, yes backup the recovery partition if you don't use sector by sector make sure you include a txt file with the exact size of the recovery partition creating system images or file/folder can allow you to recover to a new hdd if you so choo
The system partitions monk refers to should automatically be included in the image it's basically the new place for the boot.ini files etc that used to reside in C in xp. if for some reason those files are missing then switch to sector by sector clone (for win 8 this should be fine as it's a smaller drive) not sure if sector by sector recovery allows you to install to a smaller drive from a larger one,a normal image recovery will so long as data amount doesn't exceed the i
My fav site once adblock is installed..lol..easy on the eye, tabbed sections instead of links below banner,if i remember rightly i think the color of the website can be changed to whatever you like http://www.afterdawn.com/ 1-Seperate articles from actual tutorials/guides for the customization software & have link that says guides or tutorials, imo this question should never have had to be asked doing a search for a tut didn't work
Yeah free cloud storage is pitiful at best ,100gb would go down well with me if it was permanent, they should at least offer 50gb free for always, microsoft just increased their email cloud storage to 50gb & the replacement for megauplod offers 50gb free out of the box,i guess it'll take a while before we start to see some decent free storage however it's a start, tho i don't fancy uploading all the stuff i've hoarded over the years most of which i never use i suspect a
