I am toying with the idea of getting a new rig and am gathering opinions of the best place to start building. I am a non-gamer & don't run behemoth graphics rendering proggies. I do want to put something together that will do well with Object Desktop & will be able to handle the eventual move to Vista. I'm curious-- What I always heard was to avoid Dell because the important stuff to upgrade is proprietary so you pay through the nose to add memory or upgrade HW. Yet most peeps here are recommending Dell. Did the situation change or is Dell better with laptops than with desktops? Around 5 years ago, I had a Sony VIAO that I liked alot. Any comments on the VIAO? I'm not sold on a particular brand, but was surprised by the results of this thread... <img src="

Are you saying that the alpha transparency isn't working? To get more help, please try the following: Open wbconfig -- On the left-hand side at the end of the list is an option called System Information. -- Click the System Information link and right-click the information that comes up. -- Copy the info and paste it here in your forum thread.
