I am sorry to derail the thread but now with the good news of WB 10 released and working with Windows 10, is there any chance that we will see Icon Packager being compatible with Windows 10 soon too? That other app is all I need to be in my happy computing / desktop customizing place again like I did on Win 7 :) But yeah, good job to the devs. I've always liked Stardock and their creations and even have a couple of their games on Steam too :)

Going to be purchasing this tomorrow when I get my paycheck. Though when it said "Windows 10 Support Coming Soon!" on the main page I was under the assumption that the current version of WB 8 was going to get the proper support through a patch. I guess a new version had to be developed to achieve this support. Have no issues buying it since you guys gave me a nice discount offer but kind of confused still.

I would move to a more suitable solution such as Thunderbird. OE6 has not been updated in quite some time and is not suitable for everyday use. You can flawlessly import all your addy books and other contact info into that. Perhaps OE6 has a hidden size limit you ran into that corrupts things.

I guess I can be added to this list. I tried WB on Windows 8.1 and was disappointing by lack of custom start buttons. Otherwise everything else looked OK. Now using Windows 10 and will keep informed through Stardock email subscription when it will work. Have been a loyal customer of Stardock for quite few years and need some desktop toys to play with again. Considering putting Win 7 back on here so I can play around with WB and Iconpackager again.......... Just my thoughts. Ho

Just upgraded user name and bought the newest WindowBlinds in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Had not updated my new account info and it would not take Jason Carver for a user name to be displayed on Wincustomize so I chose the name LittleBearJason because I am a grizzly bear in my own way. Anyways I was long overdue for a WB Upgrade and I wanted to thank Stardock for the upgrade discount it only made it $6.99 after upgrade discount. Why are people hating on Windows 8? I took advantage for the $39.99 download the next day after it came out. No problems here. Integration with XBOX 360 Gaming, Pinball FX 2 on WINDOWS! , Computer only takes 10 seconds to boot, Computer takes 5 seconds to shut down. Programs launch a hell of a lot faster then Windows 7. I remember being an early adopter of Windows XP. I was running a P3 733 with 1GB of Ram, It ran really good. There was lots of backlash because of stability issues, but Microsoft really worked hard to iron them out. With Windows 8 coming out, it feels like Vista, or Windows ME, ALL OVER AGAIN! Just yesterday, I installed the latest copy, fresh from scratch, and then applied skins. It worked initially and then when I reboot, Windows Aero is disabled which makes skins look funny. I wish I could give more information but thats as direct to the problem as I can possibly get. I can send off a DX DIAG report to a specified email if need be. And yes, it happens when skins are applied, I uninstalled WB and the problem went away.
