If I was going to buy a Windows tablet at this point it'd be the x86 version (not that I currently have the cash, but anyway.) I think nerd-rage is about all you can call it. In six months people will have forgotten all about this stupid argument. In Windows XP you press a button, gravy, then go to All Programs, then find your folder, then run the program. Cool. In Vista/7 search was added in since that's so clunky. I've been using webmail for over a decade now. I want that data offloaded and backed up, but until I get DSL (supposedly still this month, will believe it when I see it) it's hard to even get the initial download done on Gmail at least. Fortunately, my internets, they are a changin' ;) I hope. Sigh. (As far as other cloud storage, it's still good for pics and music and whatnot. Just nothing private.)

There were also tablets that ran Windows 7, and there are also tablets running Windows RT. Yes, they have a chance, though uptake will be slow given the others have been in the field longer.
The games are actually on the Windows Store, just not in by default.

The one time auth is only supposed to happen if you purchase something. All that happens on login is they attempt to get you to merge your Impulse and gamestop.com accounts I haven't bought anything from em recently so I can't tell you much about it. I used to buy EA games from em before Origin.
My problem was the general lack of interesting events. The game was playable mind you and I put some time into it, but I can't say I enjoyed it.
Hey Froggy (and the rest of Stardock) I want to thank you again for the freebie. I felt it entirely unnecessary as I was happy with Elemental after a few major patches, and I've never seen a game company do that that I recall.
