I did the exact same thing, i dled to try it out, (cause demos can be hiped uP) and played it for a couple days, and bought it. Concerning EAW, i played the demo and thought the game would be really good. So i bought it, boy did that teach me a lession. Its SO unbalanced, the multiplayer connectivty is a joke. No diplomacy, basicly all it really is, is total war. Thats it, 2 factions hammering it out the whole time and conquring planets by any means nessiory, not concerned

I noticed this on my game i just finished i also had some slow down Huge GAL, 4 races, Normal Difficaulty OK when it was two races left (me and the terran alliance) i got about 5-10 sec lag between turns. Ok after read the first Post on this thread it, i just had to register to rply. I buy very few games, unless they give me a thrill, replayablity,and have no Starforce protection (you cant even backup youdics). To be complely honest, when a games comes out that i have some interest in i usually dl it to test it to see if its worth my hard earned money. Because demos IMO dont really show the game, its more dressed up to look pretty etc then they act
