A little history....
Back in the 1870's there were around 5000 breweries in North America. A hundred years later that number was down to a few dozen....read Budweiser, Miller, Coors and the like....not really what I'd call top-notch beer
actually swill comes to mind. Today there are over 500 breweries, microbreweries and brewpubs here now, thanks to changes in laws and people's tastes 
For the populous that IS of age in their country, what's your beverage of choice to wind you down after having a tough go of a day.
Mine is Redhook ESB or Guinness
For the populous that ISN'T of age or have a different sort of beverage that soothes their nerves or quenches their thirst, I'd like to hear about that too
A nice Chai Latte works here too
