Problem with Killer Meters!

Can somebody say what is wrong,if I click to toggle display mode to change mode what I want to use but every time after restart(desktopX or computer)KillerMeters change mode to other????? It doesn`t stay in that mode what I put!I use Killer calendar and try also alarm and mail,but all that works very well,only killermeters doesn`t work as it should!I use latest version of desktopX,so it should work.

I know some people have had problems with that, but I am not sure what the fix was.

When you say you have the latest version, are you referring to build 2.19e[b].002?

Yes,I have version 2.19e(b).002.A few weeks ago it worked without any problem with some previous versions,so I don`t know what`s now !I have to try it again!

Yeah, with this new build there are problems with some meters. For me, the animations (the needles on Rubicon and GT2 meters, the status strip on the Killer meters) have stopped working. Another thing that seems to happen is that some things just stop. I fix that by restarting DX now and again (but I modify through object properties a lot). Maybe it would help if just before you close it down you do that? Just above the *unload DX* is *restart DX*. It seems to be a refresh function.

This version DX is much more stable in some ways, but if you are not editing through properties very much and you have the old version archived you might want to roll back and see how it goes.

You just answered what I was wondering. I had the same probs with Rubicon and GT2. I figured it was a minor bug with the latest DX.... now I know its not my stupid 'puter. Cheers.

Still doesn`t work!When restarting open window "Script error in k_metersback.....".I understand that I had to edit script,but because I don`t understand enough about that,I have to leave kmeters away!Only way is that somebody advise exactly what I had to do!!

Sometimes when I have that error I start a new theme. I'm not sure why it helps, but it does seem to. Especially when I have been trying to use an object that just doesn't work. Also, you might try to dl a fresh one.

What does the script error say?

Oh, and one other thing that you might try. I still find that some things *stop* now. So when I apply a new object and it right away doesn't work, or when i have been editing a lot in properties and the changes don't stick, I restart dx again. That takes care of a lot of problems.
