Map Creation and Game Play

Windows Version Number: Windows 11 Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.9457)

I made a new tiny map and it look different in the Game.

Why is the game not using my blueprint for my map?  Is this a glitch?

If it's not a glitch: ...

Can a MOD be made so that the map I create, is the the same way in the game?

Is your easy to learn instructions to learn how to make a MOD?  Where do I go? (Looking for suggestions and links.

Thank you for any help you can give.

That's most likely not a glitch. System positions and anything you placed by hand load as you built them, but the game fills in whatever the map leaves blank.

Planets are the big one. A system with nothing in its Orbits section in Galaxy Forge gets random planets every game, and a system with no name gets a random star name.

So no mod needed. Select each system in the editor and set its orbits, and it'll come out the same every time.

If the stars themselves are in different places, I'd check that the map is actually selected on the Galaxy Settings screen. When it is, an About This Map panel shows where the generation sliders usually are. Otherwise you get a random galaxy at whatever size is picked.

I made my first Tiny map, and it was not giving me the whole map I made.  Yet, once I took the same map and mad it a Small Map, now everything is in place.  Thank you for you reply.😎
