Multiple Issues

Issue 1:  GalCiv IV does not correctly add and display Credits, Research, Manufacturing, etc.  Examples - a. When selecting an anomoly that increases credit/economy by 5% or other, there is no change whatsoever to the credits displayed, nor is there any change in the economic summary listing GDP, taxes, total income and expenses.  Same thing happens (most of the time) when game reward is an increase in either Research or Manufactring. b.  Clicking on technology research will often (but not always) either reduce or even increase the listed months of research remaining (anywhere from 1 to many months), which is extremely aggravating.  c.  After saving the game and then exiting for the night and then turning the game on the next day, the credits, research and manufacturing numbers are significantly reduced from loading the last save.  Example, my last save (took a screen shot) showed I have 1022 +108 credits, +211 research, +155 manufacturing (control and influence remained the same); upon loading the last save the next time I played (took a screen shot), my game showed 1022 +86 credits, +181, +130 manufacturing.  While the game is fun and I enjoy playing, losing credits, research and manufacturing everytime I save, exit and reload/continue game later is not fun!

Issue 2:  Game crashes 50% of the time when I enter research and select the research navigation tree.

Feel free to contact me for screen shots, clarification or additional information.  I hope you can fix this, it greatly detracts from an otherwise fun to play game.  Thank you.

About issue #1, have you tried to finish the turn and look at the numbers again ? A lot of stuff are only updated until the next turn, or until you move the tax sliders, or some other thing that does trigger a refresh. Even after a save reload it does take one turn to go back to normal. Having said that I'll forward it to the team cause it is indeed a bit strange how it behaves.

For issue #2 it would be very helpful if you could share a save file found at %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Saves. Best way would be to come over on GC4 discord and share it over there. Else you can use your preferred file sharing service.

Thank you for the reply.  Yes, I did notice that it changed after taking a turn, unfortunately it did not return to the original figures so I still lost some credits, research and manufacturing, but thankfully not as much as the initial reload.

For #2, each time that it crashed, I did complete a bug report from the crash report screen, but never heard back on any of them.

Yeah, filling the bug report is good. Still if you can share the faulty save file that would also be useful if you can. If not, don't sweet it!
