Game Stuck at V2.3

Unable to update

I keep seeing 4.0 is out but no matter what I do the game is stuck at 2.3. I completely removed the epic games launcher as well as the game. I then reinstalled both but still stuck at v2.3. So far I have tried:

1. Had epic games launcher "verify" the game files--no issue

2. Confirmed auto-update is enabled

3. Went to %localAppData% and deleted the webcache folder

Am I missing something?

Well that's strange. Have you tried renaming %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4 as well as completely deleting the installation folders after uninstalling everything ?

I had this problem. Make sure you download GC4: Supernova. That is the latest version.
