The tune and the mood of this new music is much less positive. On its own, how does the music add up ?
Old music I think think was more music than ambience. It is much more chilly, not all of it - it gives the vibes of the extremely chilly ambience of Ashes of the Singularity.
I get the sense that game makers mostly have come to a 'scientific' consensus that ambience is the way to go.
Say Heroes III, IV, V, and the rest have pretty consistently good music. Not the same.
The music sounds good.
Did the music also fit the theme ? Mostly yes.
Do the project leads not understand that their doom music will tire out and bore the players ?
You may have music that has say half good tracks, 1/3 so-so, but then youre forced to listen to doom and gloom ? EIther you identify the bad demotivating music off, or you shut the game down.
HoMaM music maker did not ever play the games he made music for. So it is not a problem really that somebody doesnt have the feel, perhaps it is the wrong instructions given to the music Who is giving the instructions ? Why is it doomy and gloomy ? I guess you whoever it is you are, started Dawn of War 3 and heard the ambience and instantly knw: This is it, this we gotta have !
That is aparrt from disgusting imagery that your lead or somebody tries hrd to push. It is disgusting, those cybran chipheads. Do youlove it ? The more disgusting the better ? If you guys have ignorant people, who pretend to not know what they are pushing, pretending right and wrong dont exist, imagine instead of good healthy food you are given excrement with a label healthy food. Labels dont matter.
The chase in games for most disgusting imagery, most preposterous story, most perverse ideas all over this western game industry is rather hilarious. Because those people pushing it are not ignorant as they pretend to be.
So, tone of soase 1 music is much brighter. 2 has much more sleepy serious and doom tone. For all intents and purposes I see in it ambience more than music.
Do people trying to impose this sort of ambience even listen to it for hours a day ? I woner, if they also take some antidepressant drugs trying to prevent them from jumping off a window if they do. What is so difficult ? Others do madness, so you gotta be ohh, lets join together, lets me mad together, we dont wanna be different from them, they appear as majority 
I understand that living in toxic conditions results in you being poisoned by toxicity. That you got used to, it is harmful to you, and you cant identify where that stench is coming from until you go step by step trying to identify where the problem originates.
I also wonder what kind of space reapers there will be, especially since space pyramids or eye of Sauron on the dollar is already on derelixt starbases or space pyramids, basically folks who try to rule the world and try to use all means of enslavement or destruction of others. Actual devilry. Like those diablo games giving seemingly bad PR by you controlling a hero that is to fight them evils. They get an exposure to the wrong and evil, while not being shown the truth and the good objectively, making evil seem bigger, more badass, stronger, ruthless, out of control etc.
Those AI images as a result of prompts were clearly done extra fast. Not only they are overly detailed for no reason, that too much detail also means that there is less to imagine. Remember the pirate image of a woman with red bloody eyes ? How disgusting that was lol. Same for chipheads. Who actually likes it ? No sane person of good will. Hypocrites for sure, because hypocrisy is always about demanding from others what youre pretending to be embracing, while not doing so yourself for real.
How come ingame voices sound worse than non-modulated even if funny sounding SoaSE1 voice lines ?
I know I am so cool, I support the next cool thing media pretends is the latest hottest thing, I do pretend the rest with the pretenders that obvious bs is a truth that I act as if it were true, right ? When you get threatened with firing if you fail to make good amount of your product disgusting, harmful and what not, that you get punished with death by hunger from inability pay, not just work, for your expenses, I might understand that even if it is wrong.
It still describes weakness and unfreedom by having to conform to these non-standards of powermongering and its standard of hypocrisy, which consistently does the opposite of what it proclaims. Imagine somebody discovers that 1+1 is not 50. Or that after number 1, 2 is second, and the third one is 3. Imagine you get a 'scientific consensus' that these are wrong, because they decided so. I remember a text from a song, that says: Die Freiheit spielt auf allen Geigen, Musik kommet aus dem WH. Freedom on all media, everywhere in word but not in deed. 
I mean corporate structures are top-down dictatorships, arent democratic or law-based either.
Not having the freedom to create environments outside current political dictate be it threatened directly or indirectly results in diminishing peoples ability to think instead of feel all sorts of guilt for things that they arent even responsible for, for which gaslighting is asuch a great tactic to be used on those who have no idea. Including those who in their ignorant self-righteousness try to enforce groupthink, because the sect leaders demand it. For profit, for trying to eradicate all disloyal how do you call them, 'useless eaters
So, to fix these things, youre pretty much ok with having to replace music whole new with old and imagery some of it is on the level of trying to provoke vomiting reaction. There was some of it in soase 1, while you could ignore it, in 2, it tries to jump in your face like the intrusive advertisements, hoping to brainwash you by bombarding you with perverse imagery, hoping to lower your resistence to abnormality. Goebbels learned from the best, which were the UK propagandists after all. (Freud+) So, having to undo these by having to mod your game is an unpleasant thing to do if you want to enjoy it without disgusting stuff throw before your eyes, music hopefully inspired by DoW 3 ambience, though not as 'good', certainly has in quite some instances a similar tone.
