Ordering within a Fence

It has been a while since I tried Fences, but the inability to manually set the order of icons in a fence stopped me using it on our machines.

I have numerous icons/applications that follow a workflow order - easy to do on Windows 10 desktop, but I could find no way of doing it. other than manually changing icon captions to they sorted correctly.

That's a real pain when you have 50+ workflows and also need flexibility to insert new icons into the flow.

In other words, I want to decide order of icons, not have Fences dictate.

Some time back I was told this was under consideration - but I still can't find this in the change log - but there seem to be a few unnecessary cosmetic changes.

Does anyone know if this is something that is ever likely to happen?

Manually sorting doesn't work in Folder Portals, but in a normal Fence right-click inside the Fence and choose Sort by: None. Now, you should be able to drag shortcuts in any order you like.
