Free Constructors are broken

Whenever I get a free constructor (from anomalies, events, and techs), I get this. I'm not sure what it is, but it definitely doesn't construct anything.

I have a custom civ and a lot of mods (all from the official mod site). I'm not sure if there's a file somewhere that lists all the mods I'm currently using. I didn't have this problem until megastructures came out.

Hey, do you also have the megastructures installed?
It sounds like a bug, but it could be mod related. If you can, could you try it without mods?

I was not able to reproduce this. I tested with Baratak and researched Starbase Modules and selected Kindness from the ideology tree. All of these gave me actual constructors that allowed me to build starbases.

As Zabik said try to play without mods to see if you can reproduce this. Some of the mods drastically change things.

I'm not able to reproduce it either using only the mods found in UP Bundle of Mods V1.9.23. As the Baratak, researching Starbases Modules spawned two constructors and no harvesters.

Is there a log file somewhere that has a list of my active mods? If so, I'll post the mods so that the modders can try to figure out what's going on. I'm sure it's mod-related.

I've had the same issue. It also comes up when you find ships after inspecting the anomalies. I have the Megastructures DLC loaded and updated.

I wonder if it's a custom ship list and/or an older civilization. What civilization are you playing?

Not sure. But I found this happened when I got the free ships that spawn after using Culture points and also when I found ships after studying an anomaly.

I have a custom civilization but had the same thing happen when using the humans.

I found the root cause of this issue. Happened to me yesterday when I was streaming. The solution for now is don't obsolete the AI designed ships especially the colony ship and constructor. If you do the free ships you get from techs, events, culture perks, etcc... wont have a template to access. I wrote this up and shared with the community team.

Remember asking on one of the forums and being told it was.

Could 2.94 have deleted that change?

Have never deleted my Originals anyway and do not get this but do delete my Original probes and asteroid miner as I have buffed their speed or range
