My mod is a mod pack of 4 mods that expand the genocider ability.
Kill citizen: spend 10 control to kill a citizen. On the planet screen, click the portrait of the citizen and select the option to kill them.
Convert citizen to neural network battery: spend 10 control to strip a citizen of it's sentience and turn it into a brain in a jar that cant do anything but has a high intelligence to boost research
Genocide planet: for when you just want everyone dead and dont have enough control to individually kill citizens on a large population planet. On the planet screen at the bottom right corner where the durational projects like economic stimulus are, theres a project called genocide population. It costs 5 precursor nanites (the description is "deploy precursor nanites programmed to kill citizens on the planet) and requires the precursor artifact studies. On completion all citizens will be killed. With 0 population the planet will have 0 approval, 0 growth, and be unable to build anything. You can then reseed the planet by sending a colony ship to the planet with your species on it, station the colony ship on the planet, then decomission it. That will restore the planet. Occasionally the next citizen produced will be the old species but you can individually kill them until only your species is being produced. This project gives you a -3 diplomatic penalty. The penalty eventually expires but does stack so using it a lot in a short amount of time will make other civs hate you.
Destroy planet: for when you aquire a planet you dont actually want to keep. Originally this was meant to be similar to genocide planet but on completion of the project the planet would be destroyed. However, when the destruction was triggered by oncompleteproject the game would crash to desktop. The original description was "bore into the planets core and deploy an antimatter bomb to destroy it". My work around is you build a project called "build giant antimatter bomb" on any planet. When it completes it gives you a charge for an artifact called "Destroy planet". You then use this artifact on the planet you want to destroy and it wipes it from existence. It also kills the governor and any ships on the planet so remove them first if you dont want to lose them. It costs 10 antimatter to build the project and requires the antimatter detonation technology. Using the artifact gives you a -5 diplomatic penalty. The penalty eventually expires but does stack so using it a lot in a short amount of time will make other civs hate you
I could also make versions that any civ can use and not just those with the genocider trait if people want that. I guess a non genocide civ will also get a big approval penalty as well as a diplomatic one
