Design Freighters

When I attempt to create my own freighter, I can't. I can select the freighter, click use this design. Then the ship design windows ask me if I want to make colony, transport, or supply ship. When I don't add a colony, transport or supply module respectively. I get an error saying a colony, transport, or supply ship must have the selected module.

Now there are freighters in the selection screen with colony, transport, and supply ships.
