Splitting up a fleet

You can no longer eject a single ship from a planet, or eject a ship from a fleet

In GalCiv III, you could eject a single ship from a planet (or multiple ships that you selected).  I only see an option to "Eject All Ships" which creates a fleet consisting of all available ships.  How do you eject a single ship of your choosing?

Then for fleets, how do you split up and/or manage a fleet?  Similar to the above, how do I eject a ship from a fleet?  Is there a fleet management button I am not seeing?

When you view the planet on the galactic map, one of the buttons should give you a little bar at the bottom showing the ships in orbit. Click on the ship you want to eject to highlight it, then right click onto the hex you want it to eject into.

For fleets it is similar. When you select the fleet on the galactic map, it should have a little bar to the right of the fleet window, showing you the ships in that fleet. Left click to highlight the one you want to remove, then simply right click onto the hex you want to eject that ship into.

Happy Saturday !

I will try that this morning. I thought that I had tried that before and it moved the whole fleet. But it may very well have been user error on my part.

They should really have something more obvious / intentional as in previous iterations of the game. For example when multiple fleets are on top of one another, there is a button to open a fleet management thing which allows you control over which ships are in which fleet. I think that should be available all the time!

But I get it - we are still in Beta.

Thank you again for the tip. I will try it today!
