Military Adjacency Bonus

How does it work?

In general I am a little bit confused about shipbuilding.  I understand  my shipyard gets some portion of my manufacturing but what proportion is it?

I liked what someone else on this forum suggested which was to add a "slider" almost like the tax bar which allocates manufacturing between social and ship building.

But putting the above point aside, some planet improvements claim +1 military.  I have not seen any military production buildings as the Terrans (at least in the first 50-75 turns).  Are there buildings which produce ship building production only?  GalCiv3 had some early game improvements for planets which did this.

Disclosure:  I could very well be missing some obvious component here.

The game has been very addicting, keep up the good work!

Shipyard gets the same manufacturing as the main planet plus any bonuses that might be there.  It's no longer split like it was in previous games as it was a little confusing.

So Social = Shipbuilding.  There's no split.

That helps clear things up a little bit.  So am I correct in understanding +1 military adjacency applies to any manufacturing building but its bonus only gets applied at the shipyard?

End of Nucleawasta's quote

Military adjacency on core worlds is for military improvements like a garrison. It has nothing to do with manufacturing.

Ship production = (social construction aka manufacturing of core world) * military bonuses

E.q. the policy Military Stimulus gives +20% Military. This increases the ship production of all core worlds by 20%. Another example would be the Warforged faction.

Military adjacencies only matter for ship production if you would place a military improvement that increases military production or construction (those exist in GC3, not sure about GC4).

Sorry, when I tried to add the screenshot to an existing message, it malfunctioned. I do not know how to delete that message (I do not see any command that I can use that will do it).

Please any anyone, i.e GM or Administrator, who can delete it, please do so

I had the same thing happen before once.
I think if I post the screenshot as a separate message it will work.
In my screen shot which I will try again in a message just after this one, My (Social) production for the World is 163.2 while my Ship Yard production is 199.4.

But you have to look from the surface of the Core (Home) World at the Ship Yard Icon to see the improved different amount, due to Military Bonuses. But you ONLY see the total amount for the Ship Yard, you do not see the individual contributions to it.

I reported this several days or a week or more ago, on the Discord with screen shots also.

If you look at the Ship Yard from the Main Game Map,  you see the Social Production amount which is what is available to use on the planet surface. You do not see the correct amount with Military Bonuses for the Ship Yard.
