Epic Game store: DLC suddenly stopped working

My apologies if there was another thread concerning this (tried searching for it)

I got galactic civ 3 free from epic and bought 3 DLC along with it (Revenge of the Snathi,Mercernaries and intrigue) all worked well for 5 hours. I saved the game and came back to it an hour later and it kept saying the DLC are not installed.

I tried reinstalling the game, the DLC, even tried the verify option, tried changing folder nameetc etc and reinstalled the epic launcher just in case just incase and nothing works.

I have exactly the same issue. Got Gal civ 3 free on Epic, proceeded to buy every one of the DLC (apart from the soundtrack). Played for 3 hours yesterday and now today I cant even load my saves as it says I dont have the DLC installed. Everything re-installed, purged toggled in Epic and retoggled (to download again). Please fix this ASAP as I really wanted to play this game and if the DLC wont work Ill have to refund which I really dont want to do.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this. This sounds like it's an Epic-client specific issue so I am not sure if we have a solution for it yet. It sounds like you have already tried a few obvious fixes, have you also tried running Epic/GC3 under admin since we know that has fixed some permissions issues.

Ahhh! Running the .exe as an administrator directly from the install directory worked! (note: it did nothing when running the Epic launcher as admin).

Thanks for the fast and working solution : -)

Hi I have the same issue, and :

I tried to run the Epic Launcher as administrator: Nothing happened, the DLC still not work.

I tried to run the GC3 Launcher as administrator: didn't even shows the races of villains and Heroes.

These are my DLCs:

I tried to reinstall, wipe GC3 registers from windows, reinstall epic, nothing worked.
