hey guys i was wondering how i could go about making the windows logo in photoshop
help greatly appreciated

There are countless of ways to make the windows logo in PS.
A good way to do it is,
-COPY and PASTE the logo to your PS.
-Create a new layer.
-Outline the logo
-Add colors, texture, bevels, etc.

sounds dumb but when u say outline exactly how do i do it

Use the pencil or lasso tool and outline the image on the new layer. Then you can add colors, shadows, bevels, etc.
