Sudden system shutdown; Galactic Civ 3 on Windows 8

Problem running gal civ 3 beta

When I`am trying to run Gal Civ III on my Windows 8 system, it keeps shutting down after several minuters, let`s say about 5-10, regardless on what I m doing. Even if I just run the title-screen it`s going to shut down immediately without restarting the PC? Is someone familiar with this issue?

Drivers should be up to date.

Are you playing on a laptop? It sounds to me like it's overheating. The same thing happened to me on my laptop, I cleaned it's fans and added thermal paste and no longer encountered that problem.

You`re right, it`s a heat problem. Above 194 F. Ordered thermal past and prepared my toolkit. Thx!
