How do you beeline tech?

Hi guys, new here but a long time fan of the series. Got the beta off the Steam sale, couldnt resist giving it a spin. So far I find it very enjoyable, one thing bugs me though - how do I beeline to a specific tech? I tried left-click, right-click, holding shift/alt/ctrl while on the Tech tree - nothing seems to do the trick. Am I missing something obsious or there isnt sinply an option for that at the current stage of the game?

Currently you can't do it, but they have said it will be possible in the future.

The problem with bee-lining in the way they have the trees set up is that you are likely you hit one of the techs where you have a choice of three, so it's not so simple as automatically going through all the prereqs to get to the tech you want.

The Control+right click was pretty cool in GCII. I would really like this back as I can 'cue up' my tech line and forget about it for a while.
