My friend and I recently bought the ultimate edition from steam. He started a game and he's getting attacked by the dreadlords. I on the other hand am playing a version that seems to be twilight of the armor and no dreadlords to be found. Are dreadlords in twilight? Is there a chance he's playing the first Galciv 2 without expansions? I'm confused.
Yes, they are. They are featured prominently in the campaigns. However, there is also a chance for them to appear in the sandbox game, if you have mega events enabled.
