Multiplayer Mode

Is there a multiplayer mode under development? I am really enjoying playing the single player mode, but it would be nice if I could play other players. Thanks.

I would love to have a multiplayer in the LH, but Stardock never said anything about it....:(

Search the forums. It was in WoM and some people here are quite .. hm .. adamant about wanting it back.

SD mentioned that they do not have the humand ressources to develop a Multiplayer right now, but that it is probably not that far of an idea to think of.
