Beginner


So i've been bored outa my pants with looking at a dull screen for years. I purchased DesktopX but i haven't the foggiest idea if i've downloaded the right version (Stardock Central) Can anyone point me in the right direction if i haven't?
Also what or where is Icon X ???

If you purchased DesktopX alone you should have been sent a link to download the program. You did comment about Stardock Central so.

If you purchased Object Desktop you were given a link to download Stardock Central.It in that case would be the correct version. Once you put in your registration info you will see a page for all the programs you can download or you will see a icon towards the top for software.

As for Icon X, I believe you are either referring to DesktopX or IconPackager.

If this does not help explain in more detail and I am sure I or someone else can get you through this.

When I first downloaded my Stardock Central I discovered that I had to download or update many of the applications. If you left click once on an application you should see to the right if you need to update or download anything. Hope this helps.

IconX is part of DesktopX. It allows you to apply transparency and zooming effects to your desktop icons, as well as hide the icon's text and other features.

MikeB314, I did not know that. I suppose I had better start using my DesktopX so that I will know things like this.
