I ve been in hundreds of fights, the only one where the police did something, was when I got stabbed. That guy went yo jail for 5 years. And FYI, I have hit and a cop, and undercover one, that was hassling my friends during a high school grad after party. I took the cop to court, got apologized to and was given compo money. As for Australia being more strict, no, we just aren't as stupid as others...Battery and assault its the same thing.
