incompatable with DX2?

Hi, My name is Chris and i'm from Holland. Now i have downloaded the demo version of DX, i recieve an error. It sais that parts of the theme are ''incompatable'' with DX. It seems that there's a problem with a .dll file. I can choose the options ''load'' and ''not load''. When i push ''not load'' than my computer strikes (stuck? sorry for my poor English.) How can i help this?
Is it because it's a demo version or do i have to have windows XP? (i've got Win me). Please help me

I think it because it is a Demo version. Some themes do not work with the Demo version

I think that are old plugins in the skins causing this.

I had a similar problem when I was running the release version, not the demo version, of DesktopX on Windows 98SE. When I upgraded to Windows XP I no longer experienced the problem. It may be that the latest version of DX is optomized to run on XP. I do not know for sure.
