I have GC II, however, I have a computer on another site which isn't very powerful and has no internet. I figured I could play GC1 on that one so I dusted off the box and installed it, but when I went to install Altarian prophecy (also from disk) it asked for a serial which I can't find. And I'm very careful with these things. My AP disk was in my GC1 box.

Now it has been a while but I'm quite certain that AP did NOT come in a jewel case. At that time I recall I purchased it as both download and physical disk, so I probably never used the disk. I also seem to recall being a little surprised that AP came in an unmarked case (actually an envelope I think). 

On Impulse I can find the registration for all of my other games (GC 1 & 2, Avatar, SOASE, etc.) but the 'view registration' option does not exist for AP. Am I missing something here? I have contacted Impulse but have not had an answer.
