The intent of the White Council is to band together a community of gamers who are interested to Galciv regularly and to contribute to improving the game while being useful members of this forum.

The pre-requiste for a White Council member is basic commitment to the above purpose. There is no requirement for you to be as clinical a finisher as "I can win in my sleep" Staffa or have the workrate of Sergey the dark horse/black sheep. :)

You might ask as to why you should join the Council where you could be a regular contributor by yourself. The White Council is an opportunity for you to belong to a small community within the big Galciv one. You would also be assured of help or assistance from your fellow Council members as needed.

Frictionless? You know, as I think about it, I believe
lacking friction would cause fabric to have no sensation.

I dont actually think that would be more comfortable.

Sorta like food with no texture.

Well, I certainly would have hoped for frictionless clothing while serving National Service (compulsory military service in Singapore - I'm a LTA responsible for an air defense platoon).

The abrasions from the pants (near the groin area, ouch) really hurts after a long march.

No need to be uptight about caring about scoring here in the Council. I wouldn't be No 3 if I myself weren't concerned about scoring. :)

However, there does seem to be a big resurgence of scoring threads in the forum now. I'm trying my best to stay away cause commenting on the scoring mechanism is probably an exercise in futility. The best advice is just to take it and play by it.

Apparently, all comments on scoring get an immediate 40 point deduction from one's last game submitted. A massive criticism gets 1,000 points deducted. Continuing bickering about the scoring and Metaverse gets medals stripped, and Citizens can be demoted to become mere permanent residents.

So we are all VERY happy about the new scoring, OK?

Scoring high is fun. But the fun for me is the beginning (expansion and first contact) and the ending (last few hours of nabbing galaxies and trying out different tactics like cultural assimilation). Which worked amazing with the Alterians. I split the Yor in half and called peace. Will see if I can culturally assimilate them now. Should have a game submitted by the end of the week...and no more Galactic size maps.

And to think that I have been telling my fellows over in the GROSS camp to watch the Canadians for about two weeks now. I know sneaky when I see it.

Sure can. How much sales experience do you have? Are you willing to put in 3 weeks of study to obtain your license? And are you willing to put in about 6 months of work in before you see dime #1 of profit come from your efforts? Lots of peeps get into this business right now thinking the bux will roll in fast. It just doesn't work that way. Takes about 6-12 months to build up a profitable business if you do everything right.

Hey guys, I'm going to holf off posting any more games until the new build comes out. I scored a 9000 point game last night which posted as 900 which correlates to my score raising 50 points. I'd just as soon avoid the frustration with the metaverse until they get it fixed.

Hey Pontius, thanks for offer!! Sales...yikes...I need my weekends and beauty sleep. LOL I once dreamed of becoming a roadwarrior, but instead I moved to tokyo and get beaten down by rush hour every day. I've been a software tech for a few years, wierd market nowdays.
