I read the forums and saw all the problems the new patch was creating, but when I went to Ironclad on-line there is a note to reduce the detail levels to avoid the problem until final fixes. Under Options Effects I reduced all my details from Highest to High and unchecked things I really didn't need. I was able to play for 2 hours with no dumps and I could probably have gone longer, but it was bed time. Let me know if that helps you too.
This would be helpful if I could even get into the start screen. My game crashes with the minidump as soon as you try to start it. Wish I had never bothered with entrenchment now as the original game was great with all the mods. I have tried to uninstall entrenchment and can't even accomplish that???????????? so I have nothing to play right now.
It errors when you try and uninstall it i take it? If you go the directory where you installed it b right clicking on the icon for Sins and selecting "Open Application directory" you can manually delete it. You can then re-install the standard Sins. This worked for me.
Hope it helps
That worked for me. Renaming/deleting the Sins folder, then reinstalled both Sins and Entrencement.
I can play the Entrencement now ... where as before, all I got was a black screen and a mini-dump.
Thank You zatbot.
No worries, glad it helped. I just hope they get it all sorted sooner rather than later.
Ya I had a problem with enchrenchment right off the bat as well. Because I didn't have the most current update on the original Sins.
Like the guys above said uninstall enchrenchment get current downloads for Sins and reinstall enchrenchment fixed it for me.
when you install entrenchment you have to check that all saves, maps, and mods are cleared out of your *USERNAME*/appdata/local/ironclad games/sins of a solar empire directory that fixed my startup crashing
I lowered my graphics and still get a mini dump in game. Starts up fine, runs anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour and then dumps to the desktop.
After the update I can't even start my game. Mini-dump galore. Where can I send these mini-dumps to get analysed?

Include the output of dxdiag as an attachment with your mini dump.
