Deleting custom races and ships...

I've always just went into the content folder and deleted the files. Is there an easier way to do this from in game, or am I doing it the way it should be done. Just curious. Thanks!

i don't know about the ships, but to delete custom races ingame, you can click on the 'load race' button during race configuration and there's a delete button there.
