Avatar Question

Where, in game, can you see a picture of you race Avatar?

Also, is there a screen that shows what or how many turns you've taken?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the only time you see a picture for the civ you're playing is during game setup.

There is a calendar display in the upper right corner of the main map, but you have to do math in your head to get "turns" out of it b/c the game uses weeks as turns and starts on progressively later dates as you move from DL to DA to TA.

I pay more attention to the Timeline tab in the Civilization manager than I do to the actual "date."

If you use that timeline in the Civ manager, if you max the scale to cover the entire game, it will tell you the number of turns the game has lasted.

Back calculating from the date works, but remember the game uses 48 week years. Each month is separated into 4 weeks, and leftovers are simply discarded.

It was on the civ manager screen back in the DL beta, but I believe someone didn't realize that was the only place it was used when that screen was reworked and the pic was removed.

That's too bad about the Avatar pic being left out, because Gal Civ II is really a huge strategy rpg, and you always want to see your character when you're role playing.

If anyone also owns Sins of a Solar Empire, the first thing you see when you open the diplomacy screen is your Avatar, it's really cool.

It would be great if they could work it into a patch update.
