Is 1.03 worth it

ive heard a lot of complaints through this forum about 1.03, is it really worth it to download??

I was one of the loudmouths over PQ15% (my crutch). But it really is just a "problem" if you do not want to change your strategy. I like to play the game as the designer sets it up so I always end up dl each upgrade. Once I adjust strategy (which i now try to view as fun) the game seems pretty much the same = fun, fun, fun...

I played as the War Party with HP & Defense Bonuses and those little starfighters relatively rocked (an 1.03 upgrade). Granted, I didn't get to play as long as I wanted (ok, a bigger score) cause on a medium galaxy, scatted, uncommon planets with the AI normal, I was pretty dominant. Surprisingly, for the 1st time with the WP. Still learning the game and this forum is a great way to do so.

I actually enjoy 1.03 alot more than I thought I would. Without the tempting +15% Planet quality bonus I am now constantly experimenting to see how useful this and that point set up is and having a ton of fun doing so.
