First Completed Game

After a few posts and inqueries and demo time, I decided to buy the Ultimate bundle when ToA was released 
And I did. And I couldn't stop playing (thank god I have this week off of work lol).
So I did a large galaxy, everything else default. max # of opponents, max # of subraces. I played as the Korath. I did start as beginner, seeing it was my first time.
...so... 8 yrs, 4 months, and 3 weeks later, I achieve a diplomacy victory lol. I could have gone for a conquest I guess, considering I was the only one with any kind of military whatsoever, but eh anyway. lol. I was honestly getting a little bored, considering the AI was puttin around doin nothing. Will def raise my AI skill up next time.
Hmm, I took out the Krynn ASAP. I wanted their planets next to me lol. The Korx were allied with me the entire game (good buds lol). The Drengin were as well, until an event happened and their leader was assassinated and they blamed me =( So.. had to vanquish their treatorous asses. I wanted to help the Torian so bad, but.. I tried to remain evil lol. I finished the game with a Demonic view, so I guess I was mean enough. Considering I let some people roast in a volcano, etc. lol. The UP were assholes at times, until I had majority control. I considering leaving a few times, but I had quite a few trade routes built up through my alliance with the Korx. I had alot of trade revenue coming in.
Anyhow, wow. This game is definently worth every cent. Considering I spent probably 6 hours playing yesterday.. and about 8 today rofl.. god, I think the last time I spent that much time on a game, I was probably 14 or 15 and on summer break from school. Wow. This game truly is exhilarating. For anyone still on the fence, and perusing the forums.. get it. right. now.
P.S. My fiancee hates you guys, and hates every civ out there. I seriously fear her worse than any Terror Star out there now. When I explain to her how I was selling ships to both the Terran Alliance and the Yor Collective, and they were at war with each other,but I was manipulating them to take each other out and also how I was funding the Thalan Empire to wage war against the Drath Legion, who was actually my ally but I felt he was getting a little too powerful....... she just didn't understand. Wtf? lol
And seeing how powerful diplomacy is now, I'm real interested in creating a race with eco/diplo in mind... and funding the galaxy to take itself out. Man ideas ideas ideas.
