Terror Stars

No! I meant that star over there!

I tried out a terror star the other day.  Very cool!  I was wondering though, why did it not ask my permission first before nuking the system?  What if I picked the wrong one, or sent it across the galaxy by mini map and just happened to chose a star on accident?

Anyone think it would be nice for a window to come up saying, "Are you sure you want to wipe this worthless system from the face of the galaxy forever?"  Maybe we could even have a big red button with flip cover to make it feel real important and final.  I love big red buttons!

+ destroy your ships
+ destroy a friendly races ships
+ destroy one of your worlds
+ destroy a friendly world

Oh. Well that is good to know. I guess I'm just too careful and never got that message. Thanks for the response.

I still think a big red button would be great!

I find it very annoying that my allies consider it an act of war if I accidentally blow up a few (dozen) of their ships in an enemy system I'm destroying... haven't they heard of friendly fire?

Have you thought of offering them the leftover asteroid fields as collateral?

"I'm sorry I destroyed thousands of bc worth of ships and killed a few billion people....here are some rock formations to make up for it".

In all seriousness, if the AI is dumb enough to keep their ships in the vicinity long enough that it's slowing my destruction of the universe down...I'll probably BUY their ships and move them...or make them the next target of destruction.
