Disgusted!

Well I only downloaded this game just over a couple of hours ago and already it has stopped responding 5 times! The game just freezes and I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out of it. I installed the latest patch via Stardock and I'm running the latest version of DirectX so why won't this heap of crap play?

Hi India51A :) Glad you took the time to nicely ask for assistance with your problem :p

The best answer is to make sure your audio and video drives are up to date and there are no conflicts there. If they are up to date then your next line of attack is to send an email [email protected] explaining your issue. If you have installed 'SmartException' then please send them the file that was produced when the program stopped responding.

I think that considering I've patched the game to it's latest patch, and I've paid nearly $40 for it, only to see it crash 5 times in the first hour of playing, then I was quite restrained in my post. A game that hasn't been messed about with mods, but just installed and patched as required, shouldn't be locking up my computer 5 times in the first hour I play it. If my drivers are up to date enough for Battlefield 2 and Quake 4 etc. then I'm sure they are up to date for this game.

Go with the second option then :) There is probably a quick fix for your situation once Stardock can find the cause.

India51A your pathetic whining disgusts me. Just because your computer works perfectly fine for one game does not mean it will work perfect for another.

By the way, the game runs ROCK SOLID for me.
