Galactic Civ Key Code doesn't work

Hi, I just bought the Galactic Civ deluxe edition and the key code just does not work. When you enter it it gives a help message saying that zeroes and o's might be confused or that ones and i's might be confused, but let me tell you I tried switching these around and no dice! Any help on this? Here's what the key code looks like:

DN - ****** - AP1 - **********
(note: I bought another copy for Electronic Boutique and they exchanged it. So, I figure it is some problem in the installer. I mean I tried exchanging the dashes for spaces, the dashes for dashes, and no dashes, etc. Any one get the Gal Civ Deluxe Edition to work?
