quick draw terror star?

This is the first time i've ever run into it..

built a terror star in the 1 sector adjacent to 2 huge planets the drengin had. I destroyed the first planet and then i clicked on the second planet (thinking to autopilot directly thru them) and it detroyed it in the same turn. almost 200b population..zapped. took the drengin down to average

The way I first read that I thought you'd accidentally vapourised the second planet! Try explaining that one to your superiors.

Captain : "Plot a course to section 10,3, past the planet"
Pilot 1 : "Course laid in sir"
*Main Weapon Fires*
Pilot 1 : "Oh dear".
Pilot 2 : "Don't worry, i'm sure nobody noticed"
