sold out?

I went shopping for GalCiv yesterday and couldn't find it anywhere. Anyone else having trouble finding the game?

Oh well, I'm off to amazon.com. :)

That is a good thing! When I called EB here in Seattle, they seemed surprised that someone would be concerned that it would be an issue.

When I arrived an hour later the guy said, "Well, I said there wouldn't be a problem, but I will now say it's officially flying off the shelves. Here's the last copy."

Made me happy for Stardock.

Good luck with Amazon... as of Friday night my order with them still hadn't shipped, and they didn't expect it to until between April 1st to April 8th(!). This despite them saying it would ship in 2-3 days for about a week.

I ended up cancelling the order. Walked into my local EB and grabbed one of the 3-4 copies they had there.
On the positive side, I expect amazon was taking so long to send it to me because there were so many other folks owed it ahead of me.

You could also DL the game directly from Stardock, if you want. :) Of course, if you're on dialup I could see how downloading several hundred megabytes might be a mite unworkable...

Yes, It's tough to find, but worth it! :)

It was not at either CompUSA I went to, so I tried EB games.

The first EB store did not have a clue, but I called another EB Store and they had 2 left.

I was going through that mall so fast to get one of those last 2 copies that mall security followed me into the store wondering what was up. ;p
