hi im new to gal civ 2, i just installed galvic 2 gold which comes with dark avatar and dreadlords. im curious as to which one came first & which ones best for standard single player skirmish games?

The dreadlords came first... dark Avatar is the expansion, the two games are pretty much one, dark avatar has more, err, everything and dreadlords is basic. once you play da you'll probably never play Dl
