PC not on internet so cannot apply patch - stand alone patch? Help!

Can anyone help me. I bought the game and downloaded the patch in an internet cafe, but I cannot apply the patch since it requires an internet connection and I dont have one at home.

Is there a standalone patch? It says in the readme with the game that there is, but i cant find it.

Or is there any work around.

I really want to play the game but want to wait until it is patched to begin.

If you've added the patch, you can activate it through email. Just follow the instructions the game gives you to do this, submit the text message that comes up and Stardock will email you a file you can place in your folder to make it work. You'll probably be able to do all this through the same cafe you got the patch from. With the exception of adding the file to your folder of course.
