high bandwidth servers?

7-13KB/s on ADSL. 71 minutes left. Sigh.

They are very high bandwidth. Equivalent of 20 T1s. But they aren't infinite bandwidth.

I'd like to voice a complaint here too... I've got a 1.5mbps pipe capable of 150 kB/s sustained and about 200 kB/s burst. I'm barely managing 20 kB/s with the California server and it keeps stalling. It took me several tries to realize that the "Download & Archive" option won't resume; very very frustrating.

It might be a good idea to widely publish the fact that only the "Install" option will resume. Based on reading some of your posts, Frogboy, I had assumed that it would be easy to pause and resume downloads -- that turns out not to be the case and modem users are surely going to be more upset than I.

To be honest, I'm not that familiar with teh archiving feature. I simply clik on a program I want and press install.

I can testify that the resume feature in that works very well.
