Demo?

I read somewhere that they were coming out with a demo for the game and was hoping it would be out sooner now that the game has gone gold. i was looking forward to playing some sort of 4x game around this time and i figured id buy moo3 and galciv if they were both good.

now that moo3 is a dud or supposed dud im eagerly anticipating galciv and just cant wait for it to come out! :notsure:

and ive been reading about all these other fans who are eagerly awaiting for galciv to be released and i remembered the demo and was wondering if anyone knew when it was coming out? perhaps a quick dumbed down version that could be out to hold over the anticipation of the final release?

plus people who didnt play the beta could see how good the game is. by actually playing the game you getter a better sense of what its like because right now all i have heard are rumours and opinions backed up with pictures and one movie on gamespot! id like to see more of the game in action because that one movie they have on gamespot is really good. too bad its such a small window and is only a minute fifty seconds long.

but more importantly bring on the demo! :CONGRAT:

unlike the moo3 people who say there isnt enough time to make a demo........ >:(

Ya the main page says it'll be out a month or so after the game i just figured theyed release a demo sooner because theyve pretty much finished the game right? What i cant stand about game companies, all game companies is that they dont release much in game footage letting you watch the game play out. i mean you can only get so much from pictures. take the moo3 game the pictures look bad, but then when you see the movie you realize its much worse than you first assumed.....

not saying galciv is going to be bad looking, after seeing the movie for galciv i was pretty surprised, the enemy face seemed to be moving in the diplomacy screen, there was a huge explosion when a ship blew up, and the robot guy clicks on the keyboard while he updates you about some new technology as it rotates around in 3d. :CONGRAT:

just wish they had more movies....

they are actually very busy, i talked to them in the chat room, they were getting the bonus pack ready, redesigning the metaverse and of course they have all sorts of things being developed at http://www.wincustomize.com/ By the way there are a lot more cut scenes in the final version than was in the beta version. I just think they haven't had time to catch their breath yet to do the demo. Hope you can wait for the demo, it is a great game and a great forum.
