V1.1 still buggy like a street dog with flees :(

Don't get me wrong I LOVE this game but after 1.1 I expected some things to get better.
Here the small list of things I expirienced so far in ONE game !!! (huge galaxy) :

1. In combat (fleet battle view) ships often show some "strange" HP statistics like 26/20 when starting the battle (somehow related to prev. leveling).

2. Couple of times war "ended by iteslf" - I attack the enemy whom I has been fighting for last 100 weeks and it "warns" me that atacking it I will start a war

3. Bought "wanders" seems does not effect you and can't be sold later. Also I have feeling that they continue to effect the side I bought them from.

4. Still no tooltip with ship name (that gone in betas) when you have clicked "goto" on the ship built event.

5. Still sometimes after loading a game the nothing produced for 1 turn if bought.

6. Couple of times after loading a game after the battle I lost (AI attacked me) I could not move my ships aty all (got the damn "out of range" messag.

7. Crashed once , this one sent to Stardock directly.

8. Still I don't know why but the ships defending the planet perform way WORSE in the battle then in space (yes, even if in both cases attacked).

9. Still not resolved the issues with wrong tech order - the beam weapon before last is by all parameters worse then the one befor, also TriStronium armor I and TriStronium armor II have EXECTLY same specs.

10. Either limit on starbases was raised or it's a bug - I was able to build 5 starbases around my planet + AI built 3 or 4 near too.

11. Ordering technologies "by cost" sometimes produce weried things like tech. with 5 weeks to complete is above tech that 4 days to complete. Anyway, I do not understend the difference between "by cost" and "by time to complete" besides this bezare cases seems same to me.

12. Also it's either bug or I completely do not understend combat mechanics, how in combat my ship with 8 beems can cause only 2 damage to enemy ship each turn when enemy ship completely has no shields ?

13. Most of the GNN "news" when some new technology researched does not list all the things this technology givews you.

14. Sometimes ships get some strange "bonuses" when no my or allied military starbase "in sight".

15. "Continue" button in main menu does not work (disabled) if you exited the game and reentered it again.

16. Zooming out in huge galaxy on minimap using +/- buttons there if influence areas shown - leaves "artifacts" - colored areas from prev. zoom level. And the last thing, it's less then bug , more then request but in shilp builder (I set the option not to remove functional components on upgrade) you can't really tell which component which - we need tooltip there (on top "installed components" bar) when component selected there, otherwise I srill in most cases have to remove them all.

There was a few other issues but can't recall right now.
Again, great game, but I think StarDoc should "stabilize" it more before moving to 1.2 or multiplayer "endeavors".

The answer lies in the change-log.

Cost means the full original research cost. Time left means what it says. They are therefor identical if no research in a particular tech has been done.

Attacker rolls between 1 and max possible damage. Defender rolls between 0 and max possible defense.

Yes, I have noticed that too. Seems very random to me.

More info needed. Otherwise my guess is that you are simply missing something. The same could be said of 8.

It's probably working as intented. Otherwise the game would have to automatically save upon exiting and that would make me very irritated.

No, we do not need tool-tips. Have you noticed the info-box in the lower left. We just have to get the developers attention to that the chosen component on the ship aren't displayed there.

Well sometimes when playing in a huge galaxi you miss some things , like moved a fleet from the planet and forgot to return or missed enemy fleet aproaching while you have your way stronger it takes out your economycs base etc...
I am not AI , sometimes you waiting for something and hit "Next turn" too fast so miss some stupid things, this means reload.

We'll go over the list and do what we can, but as for....

#2. Are you sure a UP issue didn't nullify the war? 100 weeks is enough time for 3 meetings to take place, and I know i sometimes dont pay attention to the vote.

If this isn't the case, do you have a saved game before the war ended that we could test? (I've never seen this oddity before).

No , no vote for nulify war (unless they forgot to ask me ). And no savegame.

17. Also forgot to mention that sometimes colonies stop producing ship , happens mostly after load - one ship get produced and then it "set itself" to nothing.

18. Another thing I always notice is the number of modules you can install on starbase, sometimes it "lies" , shows like 15/16 when you doubleclick on starbase but when you bring constructor - you can't add more (and this is correct btw since I did installed all available modules). Happens all the time.

19. No sound when GNN news on new discovery, I don't really sure it should be there but at least in MoO it did electronic "pa-pa-pa-pam" sound when you descovered new tech.

20. Destroying/discarding ships from the fleet provides strange problems like ship icon does not disapear after the ship discarded, and if you try to discard it once more it descard its "neighbor" in fleet.

21. The ship information exploit is not fixed, just changed a bit - if you select enemy fleet and click "manage" (that btw I think should be disabled) you can see full fleet statistics , no matter what you espionage level with that race.

22. All kinds of different and weried problems happens when you try to "work" during enemy turn, some thing work some don't and some work strange. Itt hard to pick on small univers but in fullyy developed huge galaxy with a lot of oponents ... I thing UI should be disabled during enemy move with "please wait" message or something, like it was in HoMM 3 .

23. Restoring from Alt-Tab can take up to SEVERAL MINUTES !!! on my rather average P4 3.0Ghz 2GB RAM GF-6800GT machine in huge galaxy !!! All this time you just see black screen and wander is it freezed or not ...

Btw: what the differences beteween "Metauniverse" game and "normal" game ? So far as I could tell they are the same but if you started the game as metauniverse at the end you offered the option to submit the score, with regular you don't. Why not to make every game "metauniverse" and just ask in the end if you wish to submit the score ?
