Patch 1.1 and German Version!?

Hi
after the disaster with the german version of GC2, i immediately installed the english version of the game, because no (working) patch where available for my version.
My question is: are these problems solved? does this patch also fix the german version (and translation), so I can play german GC2 on the same qualitiy level as the english version or should I stay with the english version???
anyone having experience with this?

thanks for the links.
but I would like to know, if the state of translation is somewhat better than it was, when the game came out!?
If there are still problems in the german version, I`d rather stay with the english...

The translation is not too bad, but incomplete. Some parts are in German, some in English. But you don't have to install the english version to play it in english. Just do the following:

- Install german version
-rename the DATA/GERMAN folder to anything you like
-play in english
-rename the folder back to GERMAN and you play in german

This way you can test the translation with nearly no effort after every new patch and can see for yourself, whether you can live with the translation or not.
